Agency CC was founded to serve the needs of the
Oil & Gas Industry in Walvis Bay.
There was no Oil & Gas Base in
Walvis Bay and with the upcoming Oil exploration within
the Namibian Economical Zone, it was
imperative for
Namibia, Walvis Bay & the Namibian Port Authority to be able to offer this facility.
Linktel, together with Exploration holder Sintezneftegaz, Moscow, took the initiative to
establish a Oil & Gas Base within the Port
of Walvis Bay. With the support of the
Namibian Port Authority this Oil Base became a reality.
Linktel now offer a
dedicated berth at Walvis Bay, warehouse and stacking area facilities, special trained
stevedoring services, dedicated equipment and Linktel's own base
operating crew managed by
Ricardo Visagie as well as office facilities inside the
port.
Lintel's town office is equipped with the latest
communication devices i.e.: a M-Web Satellite, two independent running wireless Internet
connections plus a dedicated line from Namibian Telecom in order to accommodate big
files via Internet connection. Linktel can
accommodate up to 25 experts within
the office, Internet connections, secretarial
services, accommodation, transport, Work Visa and
all other
requirements for the shore support to the Oil & Gas Industry. Our Guesthouse is available
for short time experts/visitors.
